Pottery for Beverages: TEAPOTS and RELATED PIECES A teapot is many things, other than holding hot water and tea leaves. As a tea drinker, who prefers a teapot when possible, I appreciate a well-made pot. Here are some considerations when thinking about teapots:
- A dripless (as dripless as possible) spout...
- Pleasing balance for handling and pouring, especially when full ...
- Nicely fitting lid ...
- And, oh, esthetically pleasing so that it doesn't have to hide when not in use!
These teapots may be warmed in the microwave before putting in tea leaves and boiling water. Tea drinkers (and coffee drinkers, too!) need appropriate accessories to enhance their drinking experience: cups (from demi-tasses, to the "Hausam" mugs named after the first customer to ask for them), sugar bowl and creamer sets, etc. Some you may find on the site; photos of available stock of cups/mugs can be e-mailed to you. Tumblers for iced tea, iced coffee and other beverages are available too.

BEVERAGE ACCESSORIES--Tumblers, cups (large and small), sugar and creamer sets, pitchers, etc., etc. Most cups without handles and tumblers have a thumb indentation for more comfortable grip. The tumblers are equally great for tea a la Russe or ice-cold lemonade. The small "thumb cups" can be used for wine, juice, tea and even coffee (our French friends gravitate to these for their morning caffeine).
